Trophy Fishing Contest

A trophy fishing contest is sponsored each summer for Anderson’s Outfitters customers. There is no entry fee, by choosing Anderson’s Outfitters to be a part of your Boundary Waters Canoe Area trophy fishing adventure you are automatically entered. Prizes are awarded for the largest Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Lake Trout. The contest is run using CPR practices. Catch your trophy, Picture your trophy and Release your trophy. Measurement of the length will be used to determine the winners. At the end of your trip you can download your digital photos at Anderson’s Outfitters. Each month’s largest fish of each species will be posted on our web site. At the end of the season the largest fish of each species will be the winner of a $200 credit on next summer’s Boundary Waters Canoe Area trip booked with Anderson’s Outfitters.
